Historic Mountain City Playhouse is being revived! Ooshie Enterprises, LLC, a local;
Rabun County native-owned company purchased the iconic building and land and works in conjunction with Ooshie Life, LLC and Mountain Learning Enrichment, Inc, a local nonprofit; 501c3 to revive the once vibrant dance hall. The Mountain City Playhouse is also home to Blue Ridge Activity & Tumbling Center, which provides movement-based activities for the local community youth.

Join us for an evening of music, creativity, and community at our family-friendly Open Mic Night, hosted in a beautifully preserved historic venue. This welcoming stage is open to everyone—from first-time performers and local emerging musicians to seasoned singers and accomplished artists.
Bring the kids, invite your friends, and enjoy a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where every performer is celebrated. Admission is by donation only, with all proceeds supporting local nonprofit 501(c)(3) performing arts programs.

Enjoy live music by Sweet Charity, Valentine’s-themed fun, treats, photo moments, and plenty of sparkle. This annual family dance is a fundraiser supporting MLE’s 501(c)(3) programs for children and families in Rabun County.
