Welcome to the Historic Mountain City Playhouse!
Historic Mountain City Playhouse is being revived! Ooshie Enterprises, LLC, a local;
Rabun County native-owned company purchased the iconic building and land and works in conjunction with Ooshie Life, LLC and Mountain Learning Enrichment, Inc, a local nonprofit; 501c3 to revive the once vibrant dance hall. The Mountain City Playhouse is also home to Blue Ridge Activity & Tumbling Center, which provides movement-based activities for the local community youth.
A Historic Setting for any Event
The Mountain City Playhouse has been a staple of Rabun County since the 1930s. Known for its swing dancing and concerts, the playhouse has a classic aesthetic that is perfect for any event. You can host your event at this historic venue! Submit your inquiry using the button below!

Join us this Saturday, March 14th from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Mountain City Playhouse for a live concert featuring Yung Soloman, bringing his high-energy style and faith-driven message to the stage. Known for delivering authentic lyrics and powerful performances, Yung Soloman creates an atmosphere that’s both inspiring and unforgettable.
The night will also include special performances by 13thdesciple, Ron J, 678EZEE, and Josh Snyder, each bringing their own unique sound and message to the stage.
This will be a powerful evening of music, testimony, and community you won’t want to miss!
